Miss Jr. Teen Illinois United States Ciara Evans

Thanks for all of your support. Love, Ciara

My name is Ciara Evans and I’m your 2015 Miss Jr. Teen Illinois United States. It was an honor to represent my great State, and I’m forever grateful for your love and support.

During my reign, I worked very hard to be a voice for my generation. I chose the epidemic of childhood obesity as an important focus of my year. As your queen, I also dedicated my time spreading awareness about hunger, something I am passionate about ending. I am still committed to volunteering every month with #HashtagLunchbagChicago and would love to invite you out. Learn more details on the blog.

New Trier High School Class of 2019 Keynote Speaker – Service Learning Project on Hunger

I’ve learned a whole lot about the risks and causes of childhood obesity as well as some ways to fight it. I am personally affected by the diseases caused partly by obesity. My family struggles with diabetes, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol.

I have also learned so much in health class this year, as well as from the White House Initiative started by our First Lady Michelle Obama. Join me in the movement to fight against childhood obesity so that the next generation can follow their dreams without worrying about this epidemic. Follow my volunteerism and future pageantry journey, as I spread awareness about my Beauty With A Purpose mission. Visit the blog for tips on Pageantry on a Budget. I’m excited about what’s next on my horizons.

For the last time, signing out as…
