Miss Teen and Jr. Teen Illinois United States Maashionistas Visit Small Business Maash Boutique

Hi everyone and thanks for dropping by my blog. Saturday was very busy. It started out with competing in the IHSA Organizational Contest – Performing Arts held at Whitney Young High School. Once my choir, from ChiArts High School of Performing Arts, finished our performance, I was whisked away for an appearance. My favorite part of the day, by far, was visiting Maash Boutique.

I met with my beautiful sister queen Arnela, director Derrick Lee (who just happens to be the best director ever), and amazing small business owner Sheyla Jarosz to get a sneak peek at some exciting new arrivals. As an official sponsor of the Miss Illinois United States Organization, you’ll see us wearing Maash Boutique fashions at appearances throughout our reign. We are the newest Mashionistas of 2015, how cool is that!

The first thing I noticed when I walked through the door was a comfy sofa and the fun feel of the place. I immediately felt welcomed and at home. The one-on-one service is definitely a plus at a local, small boutique like Maash. Okay so I’m a teen, so you know what came next. Playing dress up, that’s what!! I tried on as much as I could. I was so happy to be able to see some of the fashions we will get to wear this year.

Follow Maash Boutique on Instagram and Facebook to keep up with the Mashionistas.

It’s going to be an honor being sponsored by Maash Boutique and lots of fun too! You should stop by and check out the spring and summer fashions, seriously. Personally, I loved the rompers and can’t wait for the first hot day so that I can wear my new one.

What’s that thing in your closet that you’re dying to wear this summer?

That’s all for now, support small businesses and happy blogging!

Love, Ciara

  1. You are such a great role model for teens. You remind me a lot of my 16 year old daughter she’s smart, pretty and also gives back to her community. I’m sure you’ll go very far in life.
